Father of the Bride

I absolutely love this movie! It reminds me so much of my dad! (minus the basketball scene, it would be more like gin rummy or dominoes or something) Thank goodness my dear ol' dad likes Pat, as does the rest of my family! Watch it!

Fooooooooooooooood!

Pat and I have decided on our caterer! The TF locals may know of them from the restaurant Tori's Eatery. We have yet to decide on the dishes, but I have no doubt in my mind it will be EXCELLENT! We are getting things accomplished right and left!
Also, Tori makes a mean bowl of Mushroom soup. It's been over a year since I have had it and I CRAVE it! Idahoans, please take a trip to Tori's and have a panini! I guarantee you will love it!

Stylist to the Stars!

My BFF is going to be styling America Ferrera's hair for a movie premier!

I am so excited for her! What an amazing experience!!!

Decided on a date... kind of

JUNE 4th, 2011!
We are thinking June 4th at the Duck Head Ranch. For those of you that don't know the Duck Head, that is my dad's house. We would be married in the back yard and have the reception in the back back yard! More details to come but that is what we are thinking as of right now!

Pat did an amazing job picking out the ring! I couldn't have asked for a better one!!!

Thanks for the love and Support

When I arrived at work today (5/17/2010) Jessica had decorated my desk! It was so awesome! This whole engagement process has started off so awesome! I am so grateful for all the love and support that Pat and I have received from everyone! More pics to come from this, as soon as Jessica sends them to me!

Pat and Emily Are Engaged!

When Pat and I spoke for the first time, we knew there would be an "us." We knew we were going to be together for the rest of our lives. Pat grew up in Minnesota with a fella' named Avery, who happens to be marrying my sister. Avery and Pat were best friends since the 9th grade and they decided to up and move to AZ. A few necessary events happened and Chantele and Avery met, I eventually moved to AZ to work for my sister and then met Pat, the love of my life at his 30th birthday. Sparks have been flying between the two of us ever since!
Pat was feeling ill on a Sunday morning and sent me out to get him some Pepto and Ginger Ale. Because he has done this so many times for me, I did not hesitate! I came home and poor little Pat was in bed still and he asked me to get him some socks. "Of course my darling!" I replied! I glided over to his dresser and opened the top drawer... I searched with my eyes for but a moment when a little mahogany box caught my eye! I spun around and Pat had flown out of bed and onto one knee. He said a lot of different things to me, but all I can remember was nodding my head.
And then we were engaged!
