He finally did it!

Pat has been talking up Sweet Potato Hash Browns since the first time he cooked breakfast for me. He has bought the ingredients a few times, but he has never made the hash browns. Well, Saturday morning, he finally made them.

Here he is in our new kitchen slavin' over a hot stove.

 After we ate and ate, there were some left overs and Pat made himself a Sweet Potato Hash and Egg Sandwich. Brilliant.

It's official

We are moving in this weekend and we couldn't be any more excited... but we could be more packed!

N,E,S,W... Moving in a new direction

Welp! Pat and I are moving! Soon we hope! Our original closing day was November 9th, but it may be this week! We are moving to a safer neighborhood with our own patch of grass and a pool that other people's children haven't peed in! We are so excited to be taking this step together, knowing we are moving somewhere to grow our lives and family in!

On another note, after this house nonsense is over and done with, this blog WILL be updated more regularly with the going ons of the Haire life...

Jars Jars Jars

So, since we are doing all the decorating ourselves, we have come up with some awesome DIY ideas. And it all starts with a jar. We are collecting jars of every sort, salsa jars, pesto jar, mayonaise jars etc... If you are following and would like to save jars for us too, please let me know and I would LOVE to have them!

Count down to Tel and Ave's Wedding!

My sister Chantele and Avery are getting married in seven short days! We have so much to do and 13 hours of drive time on top of that!

Potty talk...

This has nothing to do with our wedding, just a beef I have. I don't know if anyone is familiar with potty talk, it is nothing like pillow talk... Potty talk is where one is in a public bathroom, in a stall, seated... and then someone starts talking to you. This is not something I am comfortable with. In fact, it down right grosses me out! Some things need to remain private. This is a time for the uncomfortable silence, because when someone is talking to me... I am MORE uncomfortable. Does anyone else feel this way??? 

Did you know?

Did you know you can get married in Tombstone? I was in heaven when we were there this holiday weekend! I can't wait to return to go through ALL the shops again, and go one the $10 tours!!!

I just think Tombstone is the bee's knees! We had to get an old fashioned disposable camera for pictcha' takin' so pictures will be updated after development and scanning!
